ensure your device or device case has a flat surface
nobs magneto magnetic rings work best with flat surfaces. if a case has raised patterns, textures, or embossed designs on the back, it creates gaps or uneven contact points, which weakens the magnetic connection.
getting the placement right for nobs magneto
if you use an iPhone (12 or later) or an Android with built-in magnets, the system usually has a natural centering ring, so the magnetic ring will "snap" into the correct spot on its own when you get close.
if it snaps and holds evenly with no wobble, you're aligned correctly.
ensure surface is clean and dry before application
